RYLA logoEach year, thousands of young people take part in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Program Worldwide.

Young adults aged 18 to 30 are chosen for their leadership potential and attend a camp, or workshop to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice.  Rotary clubs and districts select participants and facilitate the event's curriculum.

RYLA aims to:

  • Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth
  • Provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders
  • Encourage leadership of youth by youth
  • Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities

RYLA is - is organized and attended by youth for leadership development.  The 2 days intensive training program will aim to enhance the participants lives/careers and  how to be effective leaders in their community.

RYLA Objectives

  • Develop their Leadership Skills.
  • Develop Ethical Awareness
  • Understand the importance of Networking and effective collective effort.
  • Learn global and community governance

RYLA will provide a variety of interesting and exciting, personal development activities during the 2 day program, such as:

  • Leadership skills
  • Fundamentals and ethics of positive leadership
  • Effective communication
  • Building self confidence and self esteem
  • Team building exercises
  • Problem & Conflict resolution
