MEET THE PDG

Rtn. Kaushik Manek DG 2008-09

Kaushik and Geeta Kaushik Manek was born on 30th September 1957 in a small village called Ol’ Kalou in Rift Valley. He schooled in Mombasa. He then proceeded for further studies to LBS College in London UK and has a BSc in International Marketing and Advertising.

He is the Charter member of Rotary Club of Muthaiga. He was president of the club in 2000/2001. He was the District Secretary in 2004/2005. He served as Assistant Governor for 3 terms between 2003 and 2006 and two terms as Country Vice Chairman between 2004 and 2006. He is a Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation.

He started business from a small family shop trader to interests in Kenya, UK, USA, Spain and India. He deals in general trading, distribution, real estate, retail, manufacturing, insurance, freight forwarding, travel, mining and cement, and investment and finance.

He is also the chairman of the Lohana Community, Nairobi.

He has a blessed marriage with his lovely wife Geeta who is also an active Rotarian in the same Club and has gone through the ranks of Club President and has held several District positions. They are further blessed with one son, Shamil.
